The number of photovoltaic installations, most of which are rooftop prosumer systems, is consistently growing. Therefore, the determination of the applicability and feasibility of photovoltaic systems under different climate conditions is of great significance.
Such a technology has been recommended as well for Mauritania according to [8], [9], whereas in [8] Performance evaluation and analysis of the first large-scale solar photovoltaic plant (15 MWp) in Mauritania is conducted.
