Aii Energy Systems on suomalainen korkealuokkainen kumppani ja avaimet käteen toimittaja aurinkosähköjärjestelmille. Rakennamme aurinkosähköä elinkaariajattelun kautta Tässä merkittävässä roolissa on laadukas järjestelmäsuunnittelu, komponentit ja toteutus.
Target: 100% renewable energy; Status: Achieved; RES: 1MW off-grid solar energy system across three main atolls of Tokelau. The project includes : 4032 solar modules, 196 string inverters, 112 DC charge controllers, 84 battery inverters and 1344 batteries in 48V banks. The system allows for up to 2 days of energy without any solar input.
The Government of Tokelau sees the PV Project as the first step and therefore trial towards the long-term goal of energy independence based on renewable energy. The project is implemented by the Government of Tokelau and funded jointly by Government of New Zealand, Government of France, UNESCO Apia and UNDP Samoa.

developing areas. Energy self-sufficiency has been defined as total primary energy production divided by total primary energy supply. Energy trade includes all commodities in Chapter 27 of the Harmonised System (HS). Capacity utilisation is calculated as annual generation divided by year-end capacity x 8,760h/year. Avoided
The Tokelau Renewable Energy Project (TREP) saw the installation of solar diesel hybrid power systems on Fakaofo, Nukunonu and Atafu, the three atolls of Tokelau. There is a clear need

Solar Array''s seen on the three tiny islands of Tokelau to completely produce solar power energy. The renewable energy system comprising of solar panels, storage batteries and generators running on biofuel derived from coconut will generate enough electricity to meet 150% of the islands'' power demand.
Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully today welcomed the launch of Tokelau''s first solar power system. It is the first of three systems that, when fully operational, will provide
Tokelau''s solar energy system is set to be upgraded on each of its three atolls. Jointly funded by the governments of Tokelau and New Zealand, the $NZ9 million ($USD5.7m) system will be installed by New Zealand company Vector PowerSmart.

Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully today welcomed the launch of Tokelau''s first solar power system. It is the first of three systems that, when fully operational, will provide almost 100 per cent of Tokelau''s power.

1. ENERGY The Tokelau Energy system (Power) has been recently upgraded to a 24 hour supply system. While the Energy Department is based in Fakaofo, the management of each power system is the responsibility of each Taupulega. The current energy supply system is about 95% diesel powered and 5% solar.

Except for that part of the electricity supply provided by Solar Photovoltaic (PV) to TeleTok facilities on all three atolls and the University of the South Pacific (USP) facility on Atafu, essentially all energy in Tokelau currently is from imported petroleum.
New Zealand company Powersmart is working on the project with IT Power Australia, the Government of Tokelau and the New Zealand Aid programme. “New Zealand is advancing $7 million to Tokelau to fund installation of the systems. All three solar plants are expected to be operational before the end of the year,” Mr McCully says.
Solar power plants and coconut biofuel-powered generators switched on in Tokelau has made the islands the world’s first truly renewable nation.’ Imagine a place where the only energy to be found is clean, reliable solar power.
