The Noida-headquartered company, founded in 2018, is today commanding 70 per cent share in the lithium-ion battery recycling space through its patented technologies.
That eventually led to their co-founding Lohum Cleantech, which today is perhaps the only company in India that is commercially reclaiming the raw materials from lithium-ion batteries and the cells that go into making those battery packs.
Lohum Cleantech is looking to expand at a faster pace to meet the needs of the market. At the end of this financial year, the company is expecting to triple its revenue from Rs 110 crore achieved in FY22, the Greater Noida-based firm said. Lohum claims holding as much as 60-70 per cent share of the total domestic Li-ion battery recycling market.
Lohum will use the capital for the capital expenditures, marketing, and general corporate purposes of the company New Delhi-based electric vehicle battery manufacturing and recycling startup Lohum has raised INR 119 Cr ($14 Mn) as a part of its ongoing Series B round led by Singularity Growth.
