Very valid point. Furthermore it claims to be able to extract the data irrespective of the connectivity to the Luxpower server environment. With Solar Assistant and Luxpower currently it uses the WiFi module of Luxpower
I am new to home assistant and currently evaluating which product to take for my home. So far I do really like HA, but still curious if there is no showstopper. Look no further with HA you really can do anything you like. You have got a lot of options with door open, door closed. Most people just put a motion sensor in the room.

Can somebody who uses one of these sensors answer this please Does a lux sensor measure all light levels, or just ''daylight'' levels? I''ve tried various Google searches and ended up with all sorts of random pages that don''t actually answer the question. I ask because the sensor for the automatic headlights on my car can tell if I''m driving in daylight, or in a well lit
The best way to get this is fixed is by creating an Issue here: Issues · home-assistant/core · GitHub Make the SMA codeowner aware of this problem. Maybe this is already fixed on the latest pysma-library: I see that v0.3.5 is used at present in HA Core, on Pypi the latest version is v0.4.3.

I already have some zigbee devices, and up until now I also had Phillips hue motion sensors SML002 outdoor. Our house is now being replastered, which would give me the opportunity to switch to wired devices, someone here has had good experiences. A minimum of 4 sensors are required (to cover all four sides of the house), preferably for each room''s exterior

5. Added the Solar Assistant integration thru MQTT in Home Assistant Results and observations: 1. EG4 monitoring is SLOW - 3 minutes between data refresh 2. Solar assistant is 1 second refresh and far superior in every way 3. Home Assistant is the tool of choice for me.

Hi all, I have a Solaredge Inverter integrated with HA and I am looking to get some long-term data out of it. It already has values for the usual things like solar production, Solar export etc. I also have a LuxPower inverter with batteries integrated into HA, that has some solar sensors setup that doesn''t update with data. I am a bit confused about my automation. My automation should turn on some lights if the light is on in the living room and if the lux is under a given value. However, when value states is reached nothing happens. When I click run automation it runs as it should, but it does not fire automatically. Automation looks like this: - alias: Skru på Blomsterlampe, Leimu og stue

Hi Guy, Long time lurker, first time messaging. For starters, thank you for the effort you''ve put in during the past 3-4 years. It can''t be easy to do this alongside the day job!
