Among them, Sunport Power, a China Wuxi based leading cell and panel maker, is the only player with GW level MWT Photovoltaic panel supplement. Benefits from the unique encapsulation structure, the MWT helps solar cell to utilize thinner wafer to 130μm or even less while keeps high production yield.
Sunport Power has concluded a conversion efficiency roadmap for solar cells with MWT+ with other different cell techs. For the GW capacity production scale, average efficiency of 23.45% for MWT+PERC solar cells has been realized, which is obviously higher than PERC.
Using patented Metal Wrap Through (MWT) technology, Sunport’s classic C6-II and full black D6-II modules offer higher power and greater flexibility of application. Increased Power Output The second-generation C6-II and D6-II solar panels feature multiple upgrades alongside an increased power output up to 375W.
For the GW capacity production scale, average efficiency of 23.45% for MWT+PERC solar cells has been realized, which is obviously higher than PERC. Combined with latest HJT, the new MWT solar cell can reach the module efficiency of 25.45% by 2022.
