In addition, Virya Energy has the possibility to raise an additional 55 MEur during the 2-year term. Virya Energy was founded in 2019 by Colruyt Group and Korys to combine their respective renewable energy holdings. Virya Energy currently holds participations in Parkwind, Eurowatt and Eoly Energy.

Three key aspects were highlighted: Virya Energy's strategic reinvestments. The sale of Parkwind last year has provided funds to invest in new projects. Virya aims to expand its production capacity to nearly 3.5 gigawatts over the next decade using the sale's proceeds.
